Classic Recipe

• Hook Bass bug hook, 4-10
• Thread Chartreuse or white 3/0

Materials

• Body Foam or deer hair (bullet shaped)
• Tail Marabou and flash (full)
• Legs Rubber legs (2 pairs)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook, tie in a full marabou tail with flash at the bend.
2. Add rubber legs at the tail tie-in.
3. Attach or build the bullet-shaped head. Pointed end FORWARD, the reverse of a popper. Glue a pre-formed slider head or spin and trim deer hair to the shape.
4. Whip finish behind the head.

Substitutions

• Body instead of Foam or deer hair: Bullet-shaped foam head — Pre-formed, fast to tie; Spun deer hair (trimmed to bullet) — Traditional approach
• Tail instead of Marabou and flash: Rabbit strip + flash — More movement; EP Fibers + flash — Synthetic, dries fast
