Tyer Recipe

  • Hook Tube with trailing hook
  • Thread Black 8/0

Materials

  • Body Flat silver tinsel (full body)
  • Rib Oval Silver Tinsel (over body)
  • Wing Black squirrel/stoat hair (sparse over top)
  • Hackle Black cock (collar)

How to tie it

  1. Mount tube and tie in oval silver rib at the rear.
  2. Wind a flat silver tinsel body forward and rib it evenly.
  3. Tie a sparse black hair wing over the top of the body.
  4. Wind a black cock hackle as a soft collar and stroke it back.
  5. Form a small head and whip finish.
