Lucas Annear dressing

  • Hook Gamakatsu B10S stinger, 1
  • Thread Chartreuse ultra-thread 210 denier

Materials

  • Tail White and orange bucktail
  • Flash Firetiger holographic flashabou
  • Body Chartreuse portion of St. Patrick's day wig (for ages 8+) with black sharpie. Trimmed to size
  • Head Thread, colored black on top, with small stick-on eyes and set with Clear Cure Goo

How to tie it

  1. Run the ivy-green silk from behind the eye to above the barb and back to the two-thirds mark.
  2. Twist a little hare's-face fur onto the green silk and dub a slim body, letting the green show through.
  3. Tie in a middle-dun (or blue) cock or hen hackle by the tip at the two-thirds mark.
  4. Take one or two sparse turns of hackle and secure with the silk.
  5. Stroke the fibres back, build a small head, whip finish and varnish.
