Slotted tungsten bead Gold or copper slotted tungsten bead (1)
Body Cream/tan/olive mop chenille finger (1)
Collar dubbing Hare's ear or peacock Ice Dub (1 pinch)
Hot spot (optional) Fluoro orange thread (few wraps)
How to tie it
Seat the slotted tungsten bead against the eye of the hook.
Start thread behind the bead and lay a base back to the midpoint.
Bind a single mop-chenille finger on top of the shank so the fuzzy tip reaches about one shank length past the bend, wrapping the base down firmly so it can't spin.
Trim the butt of the mop and cover the tie-in with thread.
Dub a short shaggy collar of hare's ear or Ice Dub between the mop and the bead, picking it out to give the fly some life.
If you like a trigger, lay in a few wraps of fluoro thread as a hot collar against the bead.
Whip finish behind the bead, snip, and add a drop of cement at the thread head.
