Lay a thread base to the bend. Bind a sparse white marabou clump one shank length, then stack a chartreuse clump on top for a sexy-shad tail.
Tie in pearl cactus chenille and wrap forward to the 60% mark; bind and snip.
Tie in orange finesse chenille and take 2-3 turns for the throat gill accent; bind and snip.
Add a small chartreuse marabou clump over the top, reaching to mid-tail.
Reverse-tie gray/olive Laser Dub on top, a thin chartreuse band along the flank, and white on the belly so the fibers flare; sweep back and pinch a minnow head.
Whip finish at the eye and clip. Glue a 5mm silver living eye to each side.
Seal with thin UV resin and cure, then a thicker coat over the eyes and cure; trim to a slim shad profile and mark a black lateral line with marker if desired.
