How to tie it
Start thread at the 70% mark and build a thread base back to the bend.
Tie in the extended body material and two or three splayed tail fibers so the body reaches one full shank length past the bend, then lightly dub over the near portion to blend it in.
Return thread to the 70% mark for the wing post.
Lay a clump of white poly across the shank and figure-8 it into spent wings splayed flat to each side, the way a dead spinner lies.
Dub a slim thorax through and around the wing base.
Wind the grizzly hackle 3-4 turns through the thorax, figure-8ing across the wings, then trim a V from the bottom so the fly sits flush in the film.
Whip finish at the eye, snip, and add a tiny drop of cement.
