How to tie it
On a long straight saltwater hook, lay a thread base to the bend and tie in a sparse tail of pearl Flashabou one shank long.
Build a long, translucent wing in layers: white FisHair below, then pearl Flashabou, then a lime-and-blue over-wing keyed to your baitfish, with a few strands of Krystal Flash between layers. Keep it sparse, three to four shank lengths long.
Add a few strands of peacock or darker flash along the top for a back line.
Slide a length of pearl Mylar tubing over the front third to sheath the head, bind it down at the hook eye, and pick out the rear of the tube to blend into the wing.
Whip finish, then coat the Mylar head with epoxy or UV resin.
Press a stick-on prismatic eye onto each side and lock them under a second thin coat of resin; cure.
