How to tie it
Clamp a 15mm Spawn articulated Shank in the vise, with nothing attached to it, and bind the arm down with thread.
Tie in a tan Spawn Polliwog Tail at the rear at about half a tail's length, so it sits slightly shorter than the working shank, then trim the remainder and the fluff for a clean tie-down.
Trim a pinch of fur off the end of the MFC Bunny Brush core for a clean tie-in and bind it in, noting which way the fibres want to sweep so they lay back as you wrap. Tie in the root beer Polar Chenille at the same point.
Wet your fingers and wrap the Bunny Brush and Polar Chenille forward together, pinching the fibres back with your off hand on every wrap so nothing gets trapped.
Tie both off with firm wraps, pull everything rearward, take a couple of wraps in front, then cut the brush core with dedicated wire scissors.
Whip finish the rear section and coat the thread wraps with Loon Hard Head Clear. Remove it from the vise with the whip finish tool so you keep track of which way is up.
Mount the MFC 7203 jig hook carrying the 7mm Spawn slotted tungsten football Bead, add six wraps of .025 Lead Free wire behind the bead, and lock the wire down solid with thread so nothing spins. Build a thread base over it.
Cut the eyelet off a 19mm Spawn Shank so it rests along the underside of the hook following its curve, seat the rear section on it upside down, coax the arm into position with a thumb, and bind it down hard. Super glue here if you want extra insurance.
Tie in a fresh clean end of Bunny Brush and Polar Chenille on the hook and wrap them forward together to the bead, coaxing the fibres back each wrap.
Tie off behind the bead with strong wraps, take a couple in front, cut the wire, push the tag down with a thumbnail, and pick out every fibre trapped under the wraps so the rabbit can move.
Spin a couple of inches of Spawn Dub in sand dab/sculpin in a dubbing loop, brush it out, and wrap a short darker collar behind the bead for contrast and a bit of realism.
Brush the collar out again to release any trapped fibres, whip finish twice, and cement the head with Loon Hard Head Clear.
