Foam Yellow (also tied chartreuse, white, etc.) (1 body cut with a size 12 beetle cutter from 3 mm foam)

How to tie it
Start yellow 6/0 thread about halfway down the shank of a #10 Mustad 3366 and clip the excess.
Drape a single strand of yellow round rubber over the thread, trap it on top of the shank, and tie it down under tension all the way back, taking care it stays directly on top; trim the tail to length.
Stamp a body from 3 mm foam with a size 12 beetle cutter. Tie the narrow rear tongue in at the back of the shank with a couple of loose wraps pulled tight, then work forward binding the tongue down.
Lift the foam and check for a gap at the rear; if there is one, pull a little more foam back and pull tight to close it.
Dub a thin yellow Hare-Tron abdomen along the underside of the shank, optional. It just cleans up the belly since the foam covers the top.
Pull the foam forward to the front of the shank, find the notch in it, and secure with a couple of loose wraps pulled tight, then a couple underneath and back over the top.
Drape a strand of round rubber over the thread and pull it into position on the near side, locking with a tight wrap; rotate the vise on its side and repeat on the far side.
Bring the thread underneath and finish with a couple of half hitches (quicker than a whip finish with the legs in the way).
Trim the foam head shorter, pull the rubber legs down and cut them all to the same length.
