Start yellow 6/0 Uni thread about halfway down the shank of the Mustad 3366 and clip the tag.
Drape a single strand of yellow Round rubber over the thread, trap it on top of the shank, and tie it down under tension all the way to the rear; trim the tail to length.
Stamp a body from 3 mm Foam with a size 12 beetle cutter, then catch the narrow rear tongue in with a couple of loose wraps pulled tight and work forward binding the tongue down.
Lift the foam and check the back for a gap. If there is one, draw a little more foam rearward and pull tight to close it.
Dub a thin yellow Hare-Tron Dubbing abdomen along the underside of the shank. Optional, and only cosmetic, because the foam covers the top.
Pull the foam forward, find the notch in it, and secure it at the front with a couple of loose wraps pulled tight, then a couple underneath and back over the top.
Drape a strand of Round rubber over the thread, slide it into place on the near side, and lock it with a tight wrap. Turn the vise on its side and repeat on the far side.
Bring the thread underneath and finish with a couple of half hitches, which is quicker than a whip finish with the legs in the way.
Clip the foam head shorter, then pull the rubber legs down and trim them all to the same length.
Stick an eye on each side and add a few Sharpie markings if you want them.
