How to tie it
- Mount a tube on a tube tool or needle in the vise and start thread near the rear of the tube.

- Add several strands of holographic or UV flash along the sides.
- Wrap a schlappen or guinea hackle as a collar and sweep the fibers back.
- Add a second, contrasting layer of fox or bucktail (purple over pink) for a two-tone baitfish look.
- Slide a cone onto the front of the tube, seat it against the collar, and build a thread dam behind it to lock it.
- Whip finish behind the cone, cement, and slip a short length of junction tubing on the rear to hold the trailing hook.
