Classic Recipe

  • Hook Standard nymph, 14-20
  • Thread None, copper wire

Materials

  • Wire Fine copper wire (12 inches)
  • Everything Cock pheasant center tail (4-6 fibers)

How to tie it

  1. Build wire underbody with thorax hump
  2. Tie pheasant fibers in with wire at bend
  3. Twist fibers and wire into rope, wrap forward
  4. Fold back and forward over thorax for wingcase
  5. Secure with wire half-hitches
