How to tie it
- Lay a thread base at mid-shank and tie in a full white bucktail tail and belly. A mullet is a broad, deep baitfish.
- Add pearl flash, then a gray-brown bucktail or synthetic wing over the top.
- Build body bulk with dubbing or stacked craft fur into a deep, blunt forebody tapering to the tail.
- Set large stick-on eyes on the sides of the head.
- Coat the head with UV resin, embedding the eyes, and cure.
- Bar the back and add a dark shoulder spot with a permanent marker to mimic a mullet, then seal with a light UV coat and cure.
