Lay a little Zap-A-Gap down the shank of the Umpqua XS410 in 1/0, start the Veevus GSP 100D over it, snip the tag, and wrap back to about the barb, sealing the rest of the glue under the wraps.
Tail: lay about a dozen strands of pearl Hareline Krystal Flash around the thread, slide them down onto the shank, take one wrap and then tight securing wraps, plus one wrap behind to prop the tail up.
Body: strip the fibers off the end of the chartreuse Hareline Cactus Chennile so the core braid is exposed, catch that core in and work it back against the tail, then take the thread forward leaving a little room behind the eye.
Wrap the Cactus Chennile forward in touching turns so no thread shows underneath, capture it with the thread and snip the tag.
Collar: tie the exposed core of the chartreuse Hareline Polar Reflector Flash Chenille down directly on the shank, working it back a little, with the natural wave of the fibers laying rearward so it wraps as a hackle.
Wrap the flash chenille forward, stroking the fibers back after each turn and butting each wrap against the last; take one more turn and capture it behind the eye, then pull everything back and make tight wraps and snip the remainder.
Put a little Zap-A-Gap on the thread and wrap it in.
Whip finish, snip the thread, clean up the stragglers, and trim the Krystal Flash tail back to about the length of the body.
