Materials
- Round rubber legs (tail) Olive/black rubber legs (1 pair)
- Dubbing (body) Olive ice dub (pinch)
- Fine wire (rib) Gold wire (short length)
- Round rubber legs (legs) Olive/black rubber legs (2 pairs)
How to tie it
- Start thread behind the eye and lay a base back to the bend of the curved hook.
- Tie in a short split rubber-leg tail, half a shank long, and bind in the gold wire.
- Dub a fat, tapered olive body forward to the 75% mark following the hook's curve.
- Rib the body with 5-6 open turns of gold wire and tie off.
- Figure-8 one or two pairs of olive rubber legs at the thorax so they splay to the sides.
- Dub a short olive collar over the leg roots, whip finish, and cement.
