How to tie it
Start thread mid-shank and lash the brass eyes on top about one-third back from the eye with tight figure-8 wraps; jam a few turns underneath to lock them.
Turn the hook point-up (this fly rides hook-up to stay weedless) and, at the bend, tie in a sparse tan bucktail tail one-and-a-half shank lengths long with a few strands of Krystal Flash.
Tie in a tan grizzly hackle by the tip at the tail and set it aside.
Dub or wrap a tan body forward to just behind the eyes.
Palmer the hackle forward in 4-5 open turns to the eyes for a shrimpy, breathing collar, and tie off.
Tie in 2-3 pairs of barred silicone legs splayed alongside the body, then figure-8 a small tan wing/collar in front of the eyes.
Build a neat thread head, whip finish, and cement.
