Reference Recipe

• Hook barbless jig hook, 12-16
• Thread Black 70D

Materials

• Slotted tungsten bead (oversized) Silver bead (3.5mm, 1)
• Tail Black saddle hackle fibers (few fibers)
• Body Peacock ice dub (small pinch)
• Hot spot collar Fl. shell pink Ice Dub (small pinch)

How to tie it

1. Slide the oversized silver tungsten bead onto the jig hook. The big bead is the bomb that sinks it fast; seat it and start black thread.
2. Lay a base to the bend and bind a short black saddle-hackle fiber tail, half a shank and sparse.
3. Dub a slim peacock Ice Dub body forward to just behind the bead, keeping it thin.
4. Dub a short fluorescent shell-pink Ice Dub hot-spot collar right behind the bead.
5. Whip finish behind the bead and cement.
