Slide the metallic pink tungsten bead onto the jig hook; seat it and start black thread.
Lay a base to the bend, tie in hot pink Glo-Brite floss, and fold it back on itself three times before binding a short dense tag. The folding gives it a bold, blocky tag.
Tie in copper-brown wire at the tag.
Spin a thin noodle of black flashy dubbing and wrap a slim body forward to behind the bead.
Counter-wrap the wire forward in 5-6 open turns for segmentation and to lock the dubbing; helicopter to break.
Spin a CDC feather in a dubbing loop and take 1-2 wraps as a soft collar; sweep the fibers back.
Dub a small peacock-black head against the bead, whip finish, then set a drop of UV resin on the thread head and cure.
