  • Thread White 6/0

Materials

  • Slotted tungsten bead Silver bead (1, 4.5mm)
  • Marabou (tail) Fl. white (UV) marabou (1 clump)

  • Deer belly hair (collar) White calf body hair (1 clump)

How to tie it

  1. Seat the silver bead at the eye and lay a thread base to the bend.
  2. Tie in a sparse clump of fl-white marabou at the bend for the tail, about 1.5 shank lengths long.
  3. Dub a shaggy mother-of-pearl ice-dub body forward to the 75% mark and brush it out.
  4. Stack a clump of white deer belly hair, tie it in and let it flare into a full collar spun around the shank behind the bead.
  5. Sweep the hair back and build a thread dam behind the bead to prop the collar upright; whip finish.
  6. Cement the thread head.
