Centipede rubber legs Tan/brown rubber legs barred (2 strands)
Elk hair (wing) Bleached elk hair (1 clump)
How to tie it
Start thread and lay a strip of orange 1.5mm razor foam along the shank, binding it from the bend up to behind the eye and back as a floating underbody.
Tie in a brown hackle at the bend.
Advance the thread to the 70% mark, then palmer the hackle forward over the foam in 5-6 open turns to form the body; tie off and snip.
Figure-8 a tan/brown centipede rubber strand on each side at the 70% mark; trim to about a shank length each side.
Stack a clump of bleached elk hair and tie it in over the body with tips just past the bend for a high-riding caddis tent wing.
Pull the butt ends up, wrap thread through their base, and trim to a short flared head/collar.
