How to tie it
Start mono thread near the bend of a short-shank saltwater hook and tie in a sparse clump of white bucktail, about 1.5 shanks long.
Select three pairs of saddle hackles (white to sit low on each side, darker on top) and tie them in tented over the bucktail so the tips form an inverted V, imitating the dorsal line of a baitfish.
Add a strand or two of pearl flash along each side, kept sparse.
On the front third tie white SF Blend crossways under the shank and mullet-brown on top, stacking so light fills the belly and dark the back.
Keep stacking short pinches of SF Blend to the eye to build a bulky, water-pushing head, then comb everything back into a smooth taper.
Wrap a neat mono head, whip finish, coat with UV resin, and glue a 3D eye to each side.
