Tie in a clump of pearl flashabou at the rear, then fold the forward portion back over itself for a fuller, tapered flash tail.
Tie in white SF blend on top, then a top layer of anchovy Farrar/SF blend, folding the excess back; balance the material top and bottom so the fly is symmetrical.
Build a wide shad profile by layering: gray snow runner on top, white snow runner underneath split around the bend, then more Farrar blend and white, alternating and folding each clump back, keeping the silhouette wide and deep rather than tapered.
