Debarb, slide the copper bead to the eye, and start the thread behind it, laying a smooth base back to the bend.
Tie in two brown goose biots splayed in a shallow V at the bend for tails, each about half a shank long, concave sides out so they curve apart.
Bind in the copper wire at the bend, then dub a slim seal-brown abdomen forward to the 60% mark. Use half the dubbing you think.
Counter-wrap the copper wire forward over the abdomen in 4-5 open turns and tie off; helicopter the tag to break it clean.
Tie in 2-3 strands of bonefish-tan Krystal Flash at the 60% mark pointing forward (you will fold them back as a flashback), then dub a rougher hare's ear thorax to just behind the bead.
Sweep a small bunch of mallard flank fibers underneath as a throat reaching to the hook point, then pull the Krystal Flash back over the top of the thorax and pin it down.
Set two amber goose biots on top as wings in a low V, concave down, reaching to mid-abdomen; secure behind the bead, whip finish, and add a drop of head cement.
