Tyer Recipe

Tungsten or glass bead (optional) Gold / clear tungsten or glass bead (1, sized to hook)
Pheasant tail fibers Natural pheasant tail fibers (Tail, body and thorax cover)
Trailing-shuck fibers (Z-lon) Amber / tan zelon antron yarn (Small tuft (optional))
Fine wire Copper wire (1 strand for rib)
Peacock herl or dubbing Natural / olive peacock herl or dubbing (Thorax)
Clear micro tubing filled with pearl tinsel Clear over pearl (1 short piece for the bubble/canopy)

If using a bead, seat it at the eye. Mount the hook and start the thread, wrapping back to the bend.
Tie in a short trailing shuck of Z-lon and/or a few pheasant tail fiber tips at the bend, then catch in the copper wire rib.
Wrap a slim pheasant tail body forward to the 65% point (American-style PT nymph) and counter-rib with the wire; secure and helicopter off the wire.
Tie in a length of tinsel-filled clear micro tubing pointing forward over the eye. This will become the reflective 'bubble' canopy.
Build a peacock/dubbing thorax at the front third of the hook.
Draw the clear tubing back over the top of the thorax in a low arc to imitate the shiny gas bubble and emerging wings, and tie it down behind the eye.
Trim the tubing, form a small head, whip finish and cement.
