How to tie it
Drop the slotted tungsten bead onto the jig hook, small hole first so the slot seats against the bend of the jig, slide it to the eye, and lock the hook in the vise. Start brown thread behind the bead and build a short dam of wraps so the bead can't slide back.
Carry the thread to the bend. Tie in one pair of barred rubber legs splayed to the sides as trailing claws, each about one shank long; trim the forward stubs.
Spin a thin, shaggy noodle of possum onto the thread (half the dubbing you think you need. You want buggy, not bulky) and wrap forward to the 60% mark.
Tie in the second pair of rubber legs across the top and figure-8 them so they splay to both sides as swimming legs.
Dub over the leg tie-in and continue a shaggy body forward, stopping just behind the bead so the head stays clean.
Whip finish behind the bead and snip the thread. Pick the dubbing out with a bodkin to give the craw a fuzzy, breathing profile, then touch the thread head with cement.
