Slide the 1/8 in. chartreuse brass bead on (tungsten if you want it down faster). Starting about where the barb would be, lay one layer of Semperfli sticky back flat lead along the shank right up to the bead and bust it off, then come forward one full turn to the bead again and press it in with a fingernail.
Start the Semperfli Classic Waxed thread in Fl. Green behind the bead, snip the tag, and wrap the full length of the shank - this locks the flat lead down and gives the tinsel a base to sit on.
Tie in the Hends Body Glass in Chartreuse about three-quarters of the way back, where the taper takes a dive, bind it down tight and stretch it hard as you carry it around the corner. Bring the thread forward, securing the tag end and covering the lead, especially right up under the bead.
Park the body glass in a material clip and bind in a long strand of Semperfli Holo Tinsel in Silver. Wrap it forward in slightly overlapping turns; a small gap will not show, because it only shines through. Add two or three wraps right at the front to fill the space behind the bead, tie off and snip.
Put a half hitch in behind the bead so a knock cannot unwind the work.
Take the body glass and make a couple of tight wraps right at the back end so it cannot slide down the bend. This is the fiddly part, because the silver underbody beneath it is slippery.
Wrap forward under heavy tension at the rear - close to double its length - for a thin back taper, easing to about a quarter stretch through the middle and to natural tension at the front.
At the front go forward, back a touch, and forward again right behind the bead, then tie the body glass off and snip.
Whip finish behind the bead, and a second whip finish for security.
Spread a very thin coat of Semperfli No Tack UV resin over the body with a bodkin and cure it. The resin is only there so toothy fish do not destroy the body.
