Tying thread or Stretch floss body Black floss (body)
Antron or poly yarn gills White poly yarn (small tuft)
UV resin Clear uv resin (body coat)
How to tie it
Slide the bead onto the hook, seat it at the eye, and start the thread behind it, wrapping a smooth base to the start of the bend.
Tie in both wire ribs (one silver, one red/copper) at the rear and leave them hanging.
Build a slim, smooth black thread or floss body forward to just behind the bead.
Wrap the first (silver) wire forward in evenly spaced open turns to segment the body and tie it off.
Wrap the second (red/copper) wire forward parallel to and just alongside the first rib to create the double-ribbed effect; tie off and trim both wires.
Tie in a short white Antron gill tuft on top behind the bead and trim it short.
Whip finish behind the bead, then coat the body with thin UV resin and cure.
