Closed-cell foam sheet Chartreuse over olive (1 strip a bit wider than the gap)
Marabou or craft fur Olive/chartreuse marabou or craft fur (1 tail clump)
Flash Pearl flashabou (few strands)
Barred round rubber legs Green/black rubber legs (2 pairs)
Glass rattle Clear glass rattle (1)
Doll or stick-on eyes Yellow/black eyes (1 pair)
How to tie it
Lay a thread base over the rear two-thirds of the shank.
Tie in a splayed marabou or craft-fur tail one shank length, olive over chartreuse, with a few flash strands.
Bind a glass rattle along the top of the shank at the midpoint with figure-8s and a drop of glue.
Fold a foam strip over the shank and bind it in 3-4 segments working forward, pinching a pair of barred rubber legs into the sides at two of the tie-downs so a pair kicks out each side.
Leave a stub of foam projecting over the eye as the blunt frog face, then whip finish tight behind it.
Trim the face flat, snip the legs to a shank and a half, and glue a doll eye onto each side of the head.
