Classic Recipe

  • Hook Saltwater hook, 1/0-4
  • Thread Olive/white 6/0

Materials

  • Body EP Fibers (layered, brushed to baitfish shape)
  • Belly White EP Fibers (underneath)
  • Back Olive or dark EP Fibers (on top)
  • Lateral line Pearl or silver flash (sparse)
  • Eyes Living Eyes or 3D stick-on (1 pair)
  • Head EP Fibers + UV resin (shaped, coated)

How to tie it

  1. Mount hook, tie in white EP Fibers underneath for belly
  2. Add sparse flash for lateral line
  3. Tie in darker EP Fibers on top for back
  4. Brush all fibers out with velcro brush or dubbing brush
  5. Trim to baitfish shape, compressed sides, tapered at both ends
  6. Apply eyes
  7. Coat head area with UV resin
  8. Cure with UV light
