Slide the gold tungsten bead to the eye and start the tan thread behind it.
Tie in the rabbit zonker strip at the bend for the tail, one to one-and-a-half shanks long; hide the skin under a couple of wraps and lock it with a drop of cement.
Dub a shaggy gold Ice Dub body forward over the rear two-thirds, leaving the front third bare for the head.
Switch to black GSP. Cut small clumps of sculpin wool and spin/stack them around the shank, packing each clump tight against the last, running cream on the belly and tan/brown on top, up to the bead.
Whip finish behind the bead and remove the fly from the vise.
Trim the spun wool to a broad, flat, wide sculpin head, full and blocky up top and tapered underneath.
Bar the top of the head with black and brown markers, then add UV-resin eyes on each side and cure to finish.
