How to tie it
Mount the hook with two tungsten beads on it (purple in front behind the eye, red behind it). Start red 14/0 thread behind the front bead and wrap back to just past the barb.
Build a small thread nub/bump at the rear (this both splits the biot tails and forms a hot spot). Bump the thread forward a few turns, coat only the nub with a thin layer of Solarez Bone Dry, and cure with UV to toughen the tag.
Unwind the thread to the front edge of the nub. Oppose two purple turkey biots so they curve away from each other, measure them just short of a shank length, and tie them on either side of the shank tilted slightly toward you; snug the wrap and square them into a split tail over the nub. Wrap forward over the butts to just short of the red bead and trim.
Tie in a length of 1/100" opal Mirage lateral scale behind the red bead and wrap back over it to the tail base; clip it back out of the way.
Dub a small pinch of purple emergence dubbing (mixed with a few red highlights) tightly and build a tapered abdomen, first wrap at the tail base then forward, up to the back of the red bead.
Counter-wrap the Mirage tinsel forward over the abdomen as a rib to the back of the bead; tie off and trim.
Whip finish behind the red bead and clip. Jam the red bead forward against the abdomen, leaving a tiny gap between the two beads; restart red thread in that gap and build a base.
Build a short dubbing loop, spin coq de Leon hen-saddle fibers with the same purple dubbing into it, and wrap a soft collar in the gap between the beads.
Add a pair of purple turkey-biot horns, whip finish and cement.
