How to tie it
Seat the gold bead at the eye and start the thread behind it.
Tie in two brown goose biots at the 75% mark, splayed past the bend.
Bind in a gold tinsel rib and 4 peacock herls; rope the herl and wrap a full body to the 70% mark, leaving room for a thorax; tie off the herl but leave the tinsel.
Counter-rib the tinsel forward over the abdomen, tie off at 70%, snip.
Figure-8 one strand of rubber leg on each side of the shank just behind the bead so a pair of legs kicks off each side.
Add a few more turns of peacock herl through and in front of the legs to build a thorax; tie off behind the bead.
Take 2 turns of brown hen hackle for a collar, then lay two white goose biots flat as a V-wing over the body; bind at the bead and trim.
