Thread White, colored hot pink with marker at the finish 12/0 Nano Silk
Materials
Brass bead Silver brass bead (1, 5/32" (1/8" on a size 10))
Tiger barred magnum rabbit strip Hot pink/brown over peach (1 piece for tail)
Flat tinsel Silver, 1.5mm (1 length for body)
Wire Hot pink, 0.2mm (silver fine) (1 length for rib)
Straggle Legs Fluorescent dark pink straggle legs (Short piece for collar)
How to tie it
Slide the bead to the eye and start the white Nano Silk behind it, laying a base to the rear.
Cut a chunk of the tiger barred rabbit strip, pull out the underfur, moisten it, and tie in a tail about one body-length long with a little of the peach base colour showing at the tie-in. Take a couple of wraps under the tail so it can't foul.
Tie in the hot pink wire rib at the rear.
Tie in the silver flat tinsel at the rear.
Wrap the tinsel forward in slightly overlapping turns to the bead, tie off and trim.
Counter-wind the pink wire rib forward in even open turns, opposite the tinsel, for durability. Tie off and twist free.
Tie in the fluorescent pink Straggle Legs and wind a few turns as a collar behind the bead; tie off, trim, and brush it out a little so it's shaggy.
Wind a small thread hot spot behind the collar, color the white thread hot pink with an alcohol marker, and whip finish twice.
Add a small drop of UV resin or cement to the whips and cure.
