  2. Start black 8/0 thread behind the eye and take it to the bend. (NZCfXYkn5cU 1:38)
  3. Tie down the threaded foam strip at the bend with a drop of superglue, lay the second strip on top and tie it down. (NZCfXYkn5cU 2:35)
  4. Fold back the top strip, advance the thread, add glue and tie the two strips together for the next segment; repeat to make equal segments, leaving 4 to 5 mm behind the eye. (NZCfXYkn5cU 3:36)
  5. Tie in yellow and black barred silicone legs on each side and centre them. (NZCfXYkn5cU 5:48)
  6. Tie a 3 to 4 mm foam spacer between the front and back legs on each side to hold them apart. (NZCfXYkn5cU 7:07)
  7. Cut the hind legs to the body length plus 4 to 5 mm. (NZCfXYkn5cU 8:22)
  8. Tie in a gold olive Swiss Straw wing about as long as the body. (NZCfXYkn5cU 9:04)
  9. Tie in a white fox tail hair indicator at the same point and length. (NZCfXYkn5cU 10:12)
  10. Tie a piece of the body foam on the back, then fold the foam strips to form the head and tie them down. (NZCfXYkn5cU 11:04)
  11. Whip finish, cut the thread and trim the legs to length. (NZCfXYkn5cU 13:00)
