Slide the light pink Hanak slotted bead onto the Dohiku jig hook and mount it. Start the olive Veevus 14/0 behind the bead and trim the waste.
Bind about six Coq De Leon fibres in at the bead for the tail, carry them back to the bend, and take one wrap underneath to prop the tail up.
Tie in the Glo Brite #4 floss, cord it up by twisting it, and wrap it just in front of the tail to make the hot butt.
Tie the Glo Brite off and bind its tag all the way up to the bead so there is no bump at the back of the fly.
Bind in the extra small copper wire and three natural pheasant tail fibres, wrapping them back to the hot butt, then bring the thread forward to the bead again, keeping the body smooth.
Run a little super glue along the body and wrap the pheasant tail forward over the glue up to the bead.
Rib over the pheasant tail with the copper wire - that is what makes the body indestructible - and tie it off.
Make a dubbing loop, load it with dun Swiss CDC and spin it up. Wrap the loop twice for the thorax and tie it off, then tease the fibres back for movement.
Add a little Peacock Black Ice Dub in front of the CDC and build it straight into the whip finish.
Touch the thorax with glue to hold everything together.
