Finish UV resin over the head (thin coat)
How to tie it
Slide a section of gold mylar tubing over the shank, bind it down with red thread at the rear above the barb and again behind the eye. The red tie-down band doubles as a gill hint.
Tie in a short bunch of red Darlon under the shank as a throat, reaching the hook point.
Pair up the first wing layer, two yellow hackles inside two brown, with the feathers cupped together, and tie them in on top so they extend one shank length past the bend.
Add the second layer of one yellow and two brown hackles slightly shorter over the first, keeping everything directly on top of the shank.
Build a neat red thread head, whip finish, and coat the head and rear tie-down with a thin layer of UV resin for durability.
