Materials
Hackle fibers (tail) Hot pink hackle fibers (small clump)

Oval tinsel (rib) Silver oval tinsel (1 strand)
Saddle hackle (collar) Hot pink saddle hackle (1 feather)
Flashabou / bucktail (wing) Pearl over white (sparse pinch)
How to tie it
Start the thread behind the eye and lay a smooth base back to the point above the barb.
Bind a small clump of hot pink hackle fibers for the tail, one shank length long, then snip the butts.
Catch in the silver oval tinsel at the tail and let it hang; this becomes the rib.
Tie in the pink chenille, advance the thread to the 80% mark, then wrap the chenille forward in touching turns and bind it off.
Counter-wrap the rib forward in 5 evenly spaced turns (opposing the body turns locks the flash on), bind and snip.
Tie in a hot pink saddle hackle by the tip and take 3-4 turns as a wet-style collar, then sweep the fibers rearward with your fingers and lock them down.
Lay a sparse pearl-over-white wing on top reaching to the hook bend.
Build a small tapered head, whip finish and add a drop of cement.
