• Hook Foam/nymph hook (e.g. Firehole 618), 4
• Thread Black 140 denier flat waxed

Materials

• Underbody Peacock black ice dub (thin dub)
• Body Black fettuccine foam (1 pre-cut strip)
• Underwing Pearl green Ripple Ice Fiber (few strands)
• Wing Pale morning dun EP Trigger Point (1 clump)
• Thorax UV Shrimp Pink Ice Dub (pinch)
• Legs Orange Life-Flex (2 pairs)
• Head Black 2mm foam (1 strip)
• Indicator Orange 2mm foam (1 tab)

How to tie it

1. Lay a thread base and dub a thin layer of black Ice Dub over the rear shank as an underbody.
2. Tie in a black fettuccine foam strip at the 70% mark and fold it rearward over the underbody, binding 3-4 segments back toward the bend, then bring the thread forward and lock the foam pointing forward.
3. Tie in a few strands of pearl-green Ripple Ice as an underwing, then a clump of PMD EP fibers on top for the wing, reaching to the bend.
4. Dub a UV shrimp-pink Ice Dub thorax.
5. Figure-8 in two pairs of orange rubber legs at the sides.
6. Fold a black 2mm foam strip forward over the thorax to form the head and lock it behind the eye.
7. Post a small orange foam indicator tab on top for visibility, whip finish and cement.
