Materials
- Slotted tungsten bead Silver or copper slotted tungsten bead (1)
- Body thread Red thread (as needed)
- Fine wire rib Copper wire (1 strand)
- UV resin Clear uv resin (thin coat)
How to tie it
- Seat a slotted tungsten bead at the eye and start thread behind it.
- Wrap a slim, even red body from behind the bead down around the bend and back, keeping the profile worm-thin.
- Counter-wrap a fine copper rib forward in 5-6 open turns for segmentation and tie off behind the bead.
- Whip finish behind the bead and snip.
- Skim the body with a thin coat of UV resin and cure to a slick, fast-sinking shell.
