How to tie it
Slide a white bead onto a Daiichi 1760 and tie black Ultra Wire in right behind the bead, running it along the shank down to the bend. Tying the wire in at the front and binding it back leaves no bump at the rear.
At the bend, capture two strands of 6960 Flashabou, then complete your thread taper forward.
Wrap both strands of Flashabou together in touching turns right up to the bead and tie them off. Two strands laid side by side cover the shank in fewer turns and keep the body slim.
Counter rib the black wire forward, aiming for seven to eight ribs, then tie it off and helicopter the excess out. The rust brown thread showing through under the flash is what produces the peach cast this fly is named for.
Clean up the thorax with a few wraps of the rust brown and give it a good whip finish.
