Tyer Recipe

  • Hook Saltwater streamer/shrimp hook, #6-#8
  • Thread Pink 8/0

Materials

  • Tail Pink ears (small bunch marabou or Angel Hair)
  • Flash Pearl flashabou (few strands Krystal Flash)
  • Body Pink/pearl material (pearl braid or tinsel)
  • Collar/head Pink ears (ice dub pinch)

How to tie it

  1. Start the thread behind the eye and wrap back to the point above the barb.
  2. Tie in a soft pink tail about one hook-length long, then add a few strands of pearl flash over it.
  3. Tie in pearl braid or tinsel at the rear.
  4. Advance the thread to just behind the eye.
  5. Wrap the braid forward in touching turns to form a slim body and tie it off, leaving room behind the eye.
  6. Dub a short, buggy pink collar in the front eighth of the hook.
  7. Build a small thread head and whip finish.
