Classic Recipe

• Hook Standard wet fly, 10-14
• Thread Yellow 8/0

Materials

• Tail Red and white hackle fibers or duck quill (mixed)
• Body Yellow floss (smooth)
• Rib Gold tinsel (spiral)
• Hackle Red and white, mixed (2-3 turns)
• Wing White duck quill with red strips (upright)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook, tie in red/white tail
2. Wrap yellow body with gold rib
3. Tie in red/white wing sections
4. Wrap mixed hackle
5. Whip finish
