How to tie it
Lay a thread base to the bend.
Form the extended deer-hair body: bind a clump of deer hair at the bend, tips extending back, and rib thread forward over it in open spiral wraps to segment a buoyant extended abdomen; split a few moose fibers at the tip as tails.
Bring the deer hair butts forward and stand the tips up at the 60% mark as the post; wrap a front thread dam.
Dub or wrap a short thorax fore and aft of the post.
Tie in the hackle at the post and wind 5-6 turns down the post, then secure.
Sweep the fibers up, whip finish at the eye, and cement the post base.
