How to tie it
Lay a thread base and tie in a sparse amber Zelon or hackle-fiber trailing shuck at the bend, about one shank length long, to suggest the trapped nymphal husk.
Stand a hi-vis post at the 60% mark with criss-cross turns and a front thread dam.
Dub a slim, tapered body from the bend up to the post.
Dub a small thorax in front of the post.
Tie in the hackle at the post and wind 4-5 turns down the post, then secure.
Sweep the fibers up, whip finish at the eye, and cement the post base.
