How to tie it
Mount the curved-shank hook and start the light Cahill thread behind the eye.
Tie in the clear Slim Rib along the near side of the shank and bind it down as you wrap the thread back around the bend to the start of the hook's curve, keeping everything smooth.
Build the body with the tying thread alone: wrap forward and back in even layers so the abdomen stays very slim at the rear and thickens only slightly toward the front, ending about one eye-length behind the eye.
Wrap the Slim Rib forward over the thread body in evenly spaced open turns, roughly 8-10 segments, and tie it off behind the eye. Trim the excess.
Build a small thread thorax/head, whip finish and trim the thread.
Color the top of the body with the honey brown marker, front to back, to give the pupa a dark back over the pale underbody.
Coat the top of the body and the head with a thin layer of UV resin and cure it.
