- Hook Barbless jig hook, 14-16
- Thread Pink 12/0 or 18-denier
Materials
- Slotted tungsten bead Gold or fluorescent pink slotted tungsten bead (1, sized to hook)
- Eggstacy / egg chenille Sockeye (salmon pink) (1 short length)
How to tie it
- Drop the slotted tungsten bead onto the jig hook and seat it at the eye.
- Start the thread behind the bead and lay a short, tight base at the 60-70% mark.
- Tie in the tip of the sockeye-pink Eggstacy just behind the bead.
- Make 2-4 touching wraps packed tight behind the bead to build a dense ball; tie off and trim.
- Whip finish under the egg, then pick the yarn out so it puffs into a round egg that folds over and hides the bead.
