- Thread Pale yellow 12/0 or 18-denier
Materials
- Slotted tungsten bead Gold or fluorescent orange slotted tungsten bead (1, sized to hook)
- Eggstacy / egg chenille Fluorescent cheese (pale yellow) (1 short length)
How to tie it
- Drop the slotted tungsten bead onto the jig hook and seat it at the eye.
- Start the thread right behind the bead and lay a short, tight thread base at the 60-70% mark.
- Tie in the tip of the Eggstacy egg yarn directly behind the bead.
- Make 2-4 touching wraps of egg yarn packed tight behind the bead to build a dense ball, then tie off and trim the excess.
- Whip finish under the egg, then tease and pick the yarn so it puffs into a round egg that folds forward over the bead and hides it.
