- Hook wet/streamer, 4-10
- Thread olive 6/0
Materials
- deer hair tail Natural deer hair (small bunch)
- burlap/jute fibers dubbed Olive ice dub (body length)
- soft hackle collar Grizzly or brown hackle (1 feather)
How to tie it
- Tie in a short sparse deer hair tail at the bend.
- Spin frayed olive burlap fibers into a rope and wrap a shaggy tapered body forward.
- Tie in a soft hackle and take two turns as a swept collar.
- Build a head and whip finish.
