Materials

  • Bead Chartreuse Brass Bead
  • Head Flo Red Floss #2/0
  • Tail Green and White Marabou
  • Body Semperfli Micro Fritz Chartreuse
  • Legs Semperfli Straggle Green

How to tie it

  1. Slide a gold tungsten bead onto the shank and position it about a third back from the eye for the Nomad's level sink; don't seat it at the head.
  2. Start thread, run to the bend, and tie in a slim hot-orange marabou tail one shank length long.
  3. Tie in orange Fritz at the bend and wind it forward in touching turns up to the bead.
  4. Half-hitch behind the bead to lock it, then build a short body of Fritz from the bead to the eye.
  5. Whip finish at the eye and add a drop of cement.
