Start the white UTC 70 on a Tiemco 2488H and make solid coverage back to just short of the edge of the bend - the body does not need to be long.
Tie in the fluorescent pink UTC 70 there as the rib and trim its tag.
Take the white thread back forward in real tight touching wraps to build the body, stopping short so you do not crowd the head.
Spin the pink ribbing thread until it ropes up tight.
Wrap the roped pink thread forward as ribbing, spacing the turns as close or as far apart as you like, up to the head.
At the head, spin the pink back the other way to flatten it out again - it lays down much flatter than the roped-up rib - then trim out the white.
Build a small tapered head with the flattened pink thread, deliberately leaving it unfinished and using the whip finish turns themselves to complete the taper on such a slender fly.
Spread a coat of thin UV resin over the fly with the bottle tip or a bodkin, keep it turning on the rotary so it cannot sag to one side, then hit it with the light.
