How to tie it
Start the thread on a curved stinger hook and wrap to the bend.
Snip two strands of rubber leg; fold one in half and pinch it at its midpoint, place it on top of the hook at the bend, and secure it rearward so it forms two splayed tails; tug to splay.
Advance the thread to midshank, fold a second strand in half, and lash it on top with three or four wraps, then wrap around just the shank so a set of legs stands out on each side.
Tie in the body chenille (or dub) at the bend and wrap a segmented body forward, leaving the mid-shank legs standing out to the sides.
Advance the thread to behind the eye and tie in a third folded strand for the antennae/forward legs, pulling in opposite directions to snap them into orientation.
Cut the antenna loop at its midpoint, then bundle and trim the legs and tails to even lengths.
